“‘Yellowstone’ Season 5B Trailer: Kevin Costner’s Exit Revealed, Beth & Rip Return”

Paramount Network has unveiled the first trailer for the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone. The trailer opens with Kevin Costner’s John Dutton reflecting on legacy: “You build something worth having, someone’s going to try to take it,” he says, gazing thoughtfully into the distance.

The footage then shifts to Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler, who asserts, “What I’m doing isn’t for the ranch. It’s for us.” The clip quickly cuts to Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton brandishing a knife, followed by intense scenes of FBI agents conducting a raid and heated exchanges between Beth and Jamie Dutton.

The trailer and accompanying photos give a glimpse of the drama ahead, which kicks off on November 10. The season features Cole Hauser, Kelly Reilly, Finn Little, Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, and Wendy Moniz.

Yellowstone continues to chart the turbulent lives of the Dutton family, who manage the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the U.S. The series delves into the conflicts and challenges they face from surrounding entities, including a growing town, an Indian reservation, and the national park.

Though Season 5B was initially billed as the series’ final chapter, recent updates suggest the story may continue beyond this installment. Negotiations are underway for a sixth season featuring Reilly and Hauser, though no deals have been finalized. Additionally, the franchise’s first contemporary spinoff, The Madison starring Michelle Pfeiffer, is set to follow Season 5B.

The executive producers of Yellowstone include Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, and Keith Cox. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
