“Kevin Costner’s Essential Dating Guidelines Before Committing to a Serious Relationship”

Kevin Costner has reportedly outlined some new dating rules as he considers entering another serious relationship following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner.

According to a source who spoke with Life & Style magazine, “Kevin is open to dating an actress, but he wants someone who is genuinely interested in a committed relationship, not someone who is unsure.”

The source revealed that his potential partner must be fond of children, have a career, and be willing to sign a prenuptial agreement. “There’s no flexibility on the prenup,” the insider added.

Kevin’s insistence on a prenup stems from his recent experience with his ex-wife Christine, whom he was married to from 2004 to 2024. The couple shares three children.

During their divorce proceedings, Christine initially requested $248,000 per month in child support, claiming it was necessary to maintain the children’s accustomed lifestyle, including private jet travel and luxury vacations.

Christine’s attorney argued, “Because the children travel on private aircraft and go on luxury vacations with their father, the Family Code requires Kevin to provide child support that allows them to enjoy similar experiences when with their mother. This requirement extends to improving Christine’s lifestyle as well.”

Ultimately, the court determined that Kevin was required to pay $63,000 per month in child support.

As Kevin moves forward, he reflects on the separation and its impact. “I have no choice but to keep going. My children are looking to me,” he told the outlet. “I need to remain strong, continue being myself, and stay attentive to their needs.”
