Kevin Costner ‘Had Strong Suspicions’ About Ex-Wife

Kevin Costner reportedly had suspicions about his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner’s relationship with financier Josh Connor before they went public. According to an insider, their close bond was “a real elephant in the room” during her split from Costner.

Baumgartner, 49, and Connor, a former neighbor of the couple, were spotted together last summer before she finalized her divorce from Costner, 69. However, she insists their relationship only turned romantic “relatively recently.” Meanwhile, Costner has been linked to singer Jewel since December, and sources say Baumgartner believes he has no reason to complain.

Throughout their contentious divorce, Costner questioned whether Baumgartner had been faithful, particularly after she requested documents related to his finances. Court documents filed in August 2023 stated that Costner “does not know for a fact” if Baumgartner had any extramarital relationships before their separation.

Baumgartner testified in court that she and Connor were just friends when they were photographed in Hawaii. She also revealed that Connor had loaned her $20,000, half of which she gave to her mother, and later repaid the remaining amount. Despite the drama, sources say Connor was a “rock” for Baumgartner during the divorce, and she is now moving forward with him.
