Kevin Costner Actively Being Set Up on Dates: Source (Exclusive)

A source exclusively tells Parade what Costner is looking for in a partner after he and Baumgartner finalized their divorce in February last year.

Kevin Costner is ready for his next chapter.

The Yellowstone star, 70, is actively looking for a new partner one year after his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner was finalized, a source exclusively tells Parade.

​​”Kevin’s been having his agent set him up with women. He wants to date someone famous and well-known,” the insiders says, adding that Costner “started having [his agent] make calls for him last spring.”

Parade has reached out to Costner’s team for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Costner’s love life dominated headlines in 2023 after he and Baumgartner, 50, announced they were splitting after nearly two decades of marriage. The pair wed in September 2004 and share three children together: sons Cayden, 17, and Hayes, 16, and daughter Grace, 14.

After a nearly year-long contentious divorce, Costner and Baumgartner finalized their split in February 2024.

Though Baumgartner moved on with financier Josh Connor, who reportedly popped the question to the handbag designer in January, Costner has kept his dating life mostly under wraps and out of the spotlight — but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t had his fair share of romance rumors himself.

After the Horizon star was linked to singer Jewel amid numerous sightings together, Costner told Howard Stern in June 2024 that their relationship was nothing more than platonic.

“We’ve never gone out, ever. She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have,” he said at the time. “She’s special to me. She’s beautiful enough to go out with.”

He continued: “I’ve had conversations with her, text-wise, and she’s so smart, and she’s been through a lot herself, and so we have a friendship. We don’t have a romance, and we’ve not dated. She’s beautiful and smart enough for all those things. It just has never happened for us. She’s everything you might think, but it just hasn’t happened.”
