Mark Harmon Confesses She Was the Love of His Life – Rumors Between Jack & Gibbs Confirmed

Maria Bello is bidding farewell to her role as forensic psychologist “Jack” Sloane on NCIS after playing the character since 2017. Her departure stems from a commitment to film “The Woman King,” a female-centric Braveheart based on 5,000 women warriors in Dahomey, modern-day Benin. Bello expressed her interest in adventure travel and women’s history, with plans to fly in Haiti.

Before her exit, Bello’s character will feature prominently in a major NCIS episode on March 2. In this episode, Sloane and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) travel to Afghanistan to rescue kidnapped schoolgirls, possibly involving the Taliban. Bello clarified that the close relationship between Gibbs and Sloane is not romantic, but the episode will continue to showcase their strong affection for each other.
